The purpose of the mission was to raise Customs profile within the team, to highlight specific Customs issues, to familiarize the team with WCO best practices and standards in the area of Customs risk and compliance management, and to raise the entire team’s awareness and skills in the area. The opening remarks were delivered by Deputy Commissioner Mr. Pancrasius Nyaga, head of the Corporate Risk management Division..

The event was funded by Sweden and was facilitated by an expert from the WCO with the support and participation of the STA project manager.
