WCO EVENTS

The WCO PICARD programme was launched in 2006 to provide a framework for the cooperation between Customs and Academic world. In parallel, through PICARD, academic institutions have created the International Network of Customs Universities (INCU) and a rich vein of research in the field of Customs, generated through the International World Customs Journal.

Customs responds to the challenges

A three day conference hosted by the Greek Customs administration and jointly convened by the WCO and the European Union Customs 2013 Programme that will focus on ways in which Customs administrations can strengthen border controls and enhance cooperation with the private sector at all levels to protect the health and safety of consumers from the damaging and sometimes lethal consequences that directly flow from the ever-expanding illegal trade in counterfeit and pirated goods.
