Description:

International trade is an essential driver for economic prosperity. Securing the global trading system requires the collaboration between different parties that works best in the spirit of partnership. One of the best examples of this partnership can be found between the Customs and Private Sector under the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Programme which is being successfully implemented worldwide. The AEO Programme enhances the security and facilitation of the international supply chain and promotes certainty and predictability in an increasingly competitive global environment.

Why attend:

LEARN about the successes and challenges of Customs administrations and private sector in their efforts to implement an AEO programme, focusing on enhancing cooperation and partnership between Customs, the private sector and the other key stakeholders, fostering global public/private dialogue.

HEAR from leading experts on their experiences of implementing AEO. The second day will include a variety of workshops that allow all participants to select topics of particular interest to them.

UNDERSTAND the current international trade challenges, the control protocols around the world that have become more visible, the need to involve all stakeholders and operators in a single goal in the context of trade facilitation. The establishment and maintenance of standards is essential, especially with the aim of securing the supply chain.
