August 2009 - At its June Council Sessions, the WCO endorsed the Guidelines on Recognition of University Customs Curricula to facilitate the evaluation of university curricula to ensure their conformity with the PICARD Professional Standards. Universities that wish to have their courses officially recognized as meeting the PICARD Professional Standards can now apply to the WCO. It is anticipated that the first certificates of recognition will be presented at the upcoming PICARD Conference in September 2009.
