The WCO is dedicating 2024 to Customs Engaging Traditional and New Partners with Purpose.

WCO Members will have the opportunity to showcase their efforts and activities in this domain.

ICD 2024 celebrations around the world

  • BAHRAIN : On ICD 2024, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince of Bahrain paid a visit to the Ministry of Interior to reward Customs officials for their outstanding performance. He then participated in the inaugural ceremony of the Unified Clearance Centre and the Virtual Customer Service Centre, symbolizing his unwavering commitment to efficient and modern Customs procedures.

  • CHILE : The National Customs Service marked ICD 2024 by inviting authorities and their counterparts to learn more, in situ, about the operational processes involved in the entry of e-commerce goods. Customs experts explained the steps involved in international trade inspections and the use of non-intrusive technologies, especially as part of the Chilean Government’s national plan to combat organized crime.

  • CZECH REPUBLIC : Every year, the Customs Administration of the Czech Republic commemorates ICD by rewarding the best employees and important personalities within its partner organizations. Ceremonies took place not only at the Directorate General, but also in the regional offices. This photo was taken in the town of Hradec Králové, in the Eastern Bohemia region.
