RECOMMENDATION OF THE CUSTOMS CO-OPERATION COUNCIL
CONCERNING THE TREATMENT AT AN INTERNATIONAL LEVEL
OF CUSTOMS TECHNICAL QUESTIONS

THE CUSTOMS CO-OPERATION COUNCIL,

CONSIDERING the importance of the Council being able to take an effective part in the study of technical questions falling specifically within its field of action,

RECOMMENDS Members, as far as possible:

(a) to remit to the Customs Co-operation Council in the first place any questions of Customs Technique which they may wish to raise at an international level;

(b) to undertake a preliminary exchange of views, in the Council or its Committees, on questions of Customs Technique which are to be discussed in other international organizations.

* The Customs Co-operation Council is the official name of the World Customs Organization.
