Join senior customs officials, private-sector leaders, regional and international bodies, and global trade experts for a two-day global forum focused on the future of origin self-certification. Hosted by the World Customs Organization, the event will take place in person and be delivered in English, French, and Spanish.
This flagship event will explore how trusted self-certification systems can simplify trade procedures, boost efficiency, enhance compliance, and strengthen global value chains. Through interactive discussions and technical exchanges, participants will:
- Share practical experiences and lessons learned
- Explore innovative and technology-driven approaches
- Identify solutions to improve transparency, traceability, and trust
- Build capacity and cooperation among administrations and the private sector
The Forum builds on the successful Global Forum on Origin Interconnectivity held in February 2025 and aims to advance the global conversation on modernizing Rules of Origin implementation.
Supported by Japan Customs and the European Union (EU) through the EU–WCO Rules of Origin Africa Programme, the event reflects a strong international commitment to advancing trusted and effective self-certification systems worldwide.
