From 23 to 27 April 2018 in Port Vila (Vanuatu), the World Customs Organization (WCO) held a National Workshop to raise awareness of and prepare for the Time Release Study (TRS). This five-day Workshop was organized, with financial support from the Korea Customs Co-operation Fund (CCF/Korea), for the benefit of managerial staff from the Vanuatu Department of Customs and Inland Revenue and the stakeholders. The Workshop was led by two Experts from the WCO Secretariat in Brussels and from the Indian Customs Administration.

At the request of the Customs Administration of Costa Rica, the WCO conducted a mission with the aim of strengthening the Customs’ infrastructure and regulations for Classification and Origin work, in San Jose between 21 and 25 May. Thirty Customs officers participated in a WCO Revenue Package national Workshop on the development of advance ruling system for Classification and Origin, funded by CCF Korea and facilitated by two classification and origin experts from the WCO Secretariat.

The Nigerian Customs Service (NCS), in collaboration with the WCO, hosted a SAFE AEO sensitization Workshop from 23 to 25 May 2018. The Workshop was held at the Customs Command and Staff College, Gwagwalada - Abuja, the WCO Regional Training Centre (RTC) for the Western and Central Africa (WCA) region. The first one and a half days were open to all the relevant stakeholders, while the rest of the Workshop was intended for Customs delegates only. The event was funded by the Korea Customs Cooperation Fund (CCF).
