On 12 January 2023, ten students from the 2022 – 2023 class of foreign students from the Customs School of Tourcoing (French customs) were able to familiarize themselves with the WCO environment during a discovery day at the WCO Secretariat.
They were thus able to benefit from presentations on current technical subjects and discuss with Secretariat experts on the following topics: the 2022 harmonized system, the latest advances in customs valuation and rules of origin, CEN applications, the Colibri project and portal, enforcement operations, as well as opportunities in terms of career development programmes and training tools.
