The World Customs Organization (WCO), in collaboration with the International Association of Ports and Harbors (IAPH), is pleased to announce the release of the Guidelines on Cooperation between Customs and Port Authorities in Spanish. This version has been made possible through the dedicated efforts of SUNAT (Peruvian Customs), ensuring that Spanish-speaking Customs and Port authorities have access to this vital resource.
The Guidelines on Cooperation between Customs and Port Authorities aim to foster stronger cooperation and coordination between Customs and Port authorities, ultimately facilitating trade, improving security, and enhancing operational efficiency. These guidelines underscore the importance of understanding business processes and systems to drive interoperability and foster resilience through emerging technologies.
The Spanish version of the guidelines will enable a wider audience to benefit from these insights and best practices, supporting the global effort to streamline Customs and Port operations.
