The active pursuit of knowledge through systematic inquiry, objective analysis, empirical evidence, and consideration of local conditions greatly benefits policymaking. With this in mind, the WCO Research Unit (RU) produces research and policy analysis on Customs and international trade matters. The RU also organizes research conferences where academics and practitioners present their work.
