CBM - An inclusive approach for connecting stakeholders

Poster ICD 2015 webThe WCO is dedicating 2015 to promoting Coordinated Border Management (CBM) under the slogan “Coordinated Border Management - An inclusive approach for connecting stakeholders”.

WCO Members will have the opportunity to promote the enhanced coordination practices and mechanisms that they have implemented within their administrations and with other Customs administrations and government agencies, as well as with economic operators involved in cross-border trade.

The poster displayed on this page is available to all WCO Members in English, French and without text if they wish to produce it in their own language (see box below – ensure you are logged-in).   • ALGERIA: ICD 2015 celebrations took place in the administrative district of Adrar, in the South-West of Algeria, bordering on Mali, in the presence of civil and military local authorities. They included the opening of a new Customs offices, several sporting events, awards to deserving officers and the launch of a postage stamp dedicated to Algerian Customs.

  • DOMINICAN REPUBLIC: four private companies and three public institutions that supported the initiatives and programmes aimed at facilitating and ensuring the security of the logistics supply chain, including the application of best practices in the private management of foreign trade, were awarded a WCO Certificate of Merit on the occasion of ICD 2015. In addition, 13 Customs officers who made their best efforts to effectively facilitate trade and enforce Customs’ standards and procedures were also honoured.
