The Secretary General of the WCO, Kunio Mikuriya, wishes to congratulate all women across the world on the occasion of International Women’s Day, celebrated annually on 8 March.
The WCO has actively embraced gender equality, having recently discussed the issue at the WCO Capacity Building Committee that met last week.
Following the outcomes of the work of the Committee, it has been agreed to conduct a series of events to address the question of gender equality within the broader Customs community.
