The WCO is pleased to announce that the Intermediate Data Analytics (DA) course is available in English and French on the CLiKC!, WCO e-learning platform, as of 16 June 2021 supported by Customs Corporate Fund (CCF) Korea.
This e-learning course aims at experienced Customs officials who wish to broaden their DA skills with applied machine learning techniques. It is highly recommended to complete the beginner course and take the intermediate course for those who are unfamiliar with Python programming.
The course works are structured to enable Customs DA practitioners to build applications of machine learning models. A specific part is devoted to the Deep Learning technologies and the DATE algorithm as the best practice of detecting under-valuation fraud cases. With lessons on machine learning algorithms and its applications, it will provide Members the practical knowledge and skills needed in the new era of emerging technologies.
The Arabic translated version of the DA beginner course is also now available. Arabic-speaking Members can now use this training course as the foundation of capacity building for Data Analytics or part of their blended training strategy too.

Without any limit, every Customs official can make access to the course using access credentials.

Tips to get to the course
At the bottom of the CLiKC home page (https://clikc.wcoomd.org/), there is a button that applicants can register situated under the HELP menu called "Get registered."
Once required information is filled in, it will be processed by Member's national coordinator who will approve the application if they are a government or Customs officer.
