WCO releases two new training kits for its Members

25 marzo 2025

WCO Members can now access two Training Kits on "Internal Affairs" and "Building a Culture of Integrity". Developed within the framework of the WCO Anti-Corruption & Integrity Promotion (A-CIP) Programme, the kits offer materials that aim to facilitate the acquisition or consolidation of individual and institutional competencies related to integrity. These kits are available on the WCO CLiKC! Platform.

The "Internal Affairs" Training Kit focuses on activities that target preventing and reporting corruption or misconduct, investigating such cases, and managing a robust and fair discipline mechanism in Customs.

The Training Kit "Building a Culture of Integrity in Customs" emphasizes the importance of creating and maintaining a supportive, healthy, positive, engaging and ethical organizational culture that will impact the fight against corruption and the promotion of integrity.

The training function plays a critical role in optimizing employee performance to improve border protection and trade facilitation. It also plays a vital role in developing responsible and proud professionals who are recognized for their expertise, service orientation and integrity, and contribution to building a strong organizational culture based on integrity.

The WCO encourages Members to explore and use these new training kits to strengthen their efforts in their fight against corruption and the promotion of integrity.

The WCO A-CIP Programme, funded by Norway, is a comprehensive initiative that provides technical assistance and capacity-building support to WCO Member administrations implementing integrity-related initiatives in line with the WCO Revised Arusha Declaration. The Programme aims to enhance the integrity and transparency of Customs operations and promote anti-corruption efforts. For more information, please contact capacity.building@wcoomd.org.
