Fellows leave WCO Headquarters for their study trips

The Secretary General of the WCO, Kunio Mikuriya, met the 15 participants attending the 58th English-speaking WCO Fellowship Programme on 12 October 2012 at the conclusion of the first part of the Programme, which began in Brussels in mid September.

Participants will now leave WCO Headquarters to spend a fortnight in one of the Programme’s partner administrations (Japan, Republic of Korea and the Netherlands) to round off their study trip.

The English-speaking Fellowship Programme is funded by the Customs administrations of Japan and the Netherlands, as well as the Korea Development Fund.

List of countries participating in the 58th Fellowship Programme: Albania, Bangladesh, Barbados, Bhutan, Congo (Dem. Rep. of the), Fiji, Indonesia, Kenya, Malawi, Myanmar, Nepal, Nigeria, Seychelles, Vietnam and Yemen.
