The 19th RILO Commonwealth of Independent States National Contact Points Meeting (RILO CIS NCP Meeting) was held virtually, for the first time, on 28 October 2020.
The NCPs of 8 countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan) participated in the meeting.
The meeting took note of the Chairmanship of the Global RILO Meetings for 2021-2022.
The participants discussed a wide range of topics pertaining to further strengthening of enforcement cooperation, information exchange, analytical work, the WCO CEN database and the new version of the CENcomm 3.0 Platform.
The meeting focused on the CEN and CENcomm developments, including the impact of each NCPs to the RILO CIS operational activities as well as on discussions on future approaches in intelligence sharing.
The participants agreed on the importance of deepening cooperation between all countries in the RILO CIS region, especially during these challenging times.
The RILO CIS Annual Action Plan 2021 was also endorsed by all the Member States.
