As part of the SECO-WCO Global Trade Facilitation Programme (GTFP) and under the auspices of the WCO Mercator Programme, on 18 June 2021 the WCO organized a Dialogue on Advance Rulings for Origin for the benefit of the Customs Administration of Bolivia.
Addressing the request from the Customs Administration of Bolivia, this activity was tailored by the WCO to provide additional assistance, specifically targeting mid and high-level officers of the Bolivian Customs, on the process of evaluating and issuing Advance Rulings for Origin.
This mission measured the progress made by the Customs Administration regarding the implementation of the Advance Rulings procedure in Bolivia. Also, it provided a space for Customs officers to exchange views, as well as solve problems and doubts, identifying next steps and areas of opportunity to strength the mechanism in benefit of the trade community.
