The New Zealand Customs Minister, Hon. Nicky Wagner, met with Deputy Secretary General Sergio Mujica at WCO Headquarters on 2 March 2016 to discuss a range of topical Customs matters, including e-commerce, digital Customs, security issues and trade facilitation.
The Minister expressed New Zealand’s appreciation for the cooperation provided by the WCO in many areas, serving as a forum for the exchange of experience and best practices amongst the Organization’s membership worldwide.
Deputy Secretary General Mujica welcomed the commitment of New Zealand to the WCO and its very positive input over many years.
Both parties look forward to continuing and enhancing the longstanding cooperation.
