Integrity involves developing and maintaining a positive set of attitudes and values, which gives effect to the organisation’s aims, objectives, and the spirit of its integrity strategy. Issues related to integrity are complex and often intrinsically linked to a host of factors and other stakeholders in the international supply chain. To that end,the World Customs Organization (WCO) regards promoting integrity as high priority for efficient Customs in the 21st Century.
With the above in mind, the WCO is delighted to introduce this 20th edition of the Integrity Newsletter. The edition contains practical examples of WCO Members around the world in implementing various measures and initiatives designed to enhance integrity within their organizations. Furthermore, it highlights recent WCO activities related to integrity promotion.
The WCO wishes to thank to all the Members that have contributed news articles on their Integrity promotion and corruption prevention efforts.
